Refund Policy for Attendance Tracker

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for the Attendance Tracker mobile application (the "App") provided by Binaryscript Private Limited ("we," "us," or "our").
Payment Processing
All payments and refunds are processed through Google Play Store. We do not directly process payments or refunds. Google Play handles all subscription billing, payment processing, and refund requests.
1. Free Version
The free version of the App includes:
- Full functionality for attendance tracking and salary calculation
- Basic PDF report generation
- Multi-language support (11 Indian languages)
- Google AdMob advertisements
No payment is required for the free version, and therefore no refunds are applicable.
2. Premium Subscriptions
2.1 Premium Benefits
Premium subscriptions provide:
- Unlimited PDF report generation
- Advanced report customization
- Ad-free experience
- Priority customer support
- Additional features as they are added
2.2 Subscription Details
Premium subscriptions are available through Google Play Store with the following pricing (in Indian Rupees - INR):
- Monthly subscription
- Yearly subscription
- Lifetime purchase (one-time payment)

3. Auto-Renewal
Important: Auto-Renewal
Premium subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Google Play account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your device
- Tap Menu → Subscriptions
- Select Attendance Tracker
- Tap Cancel subscription
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until the end of the paid period. No refund will be provided for the remaining time in the current subscription period.
5. Refund Eligibility
5.1 48-Hour Refund Window
Automatic Approval Window
Within 48 hours of purchase: Google Play typically approves refund requests automatically if submitted within 48 hours of the initial purchase. This is the best time to request a refund if you are not satisfied with the purchase.
5.2 After 48 Hours
After the 48-hour window, refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by Google Play. Approval is not guaranteed and depends on Google's refund policies and the circumstances of your request.
5.3 Refundable Situations
Refunds may be granted in the following situations:
- Accidental Purchase: You purchased a subscription by mistake
- Duplicate Charges: You were charged multiple times for the same subscription
- Technical Issues: The App has technical problems that prevent you from using premium features
- Unauthorized Charges: Your account was charged without your authorization
5.4 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally NOT provided in the following cases:
- Partial subscription periods (no pro-rated refunds)
- Change of mind after the 48-hour window
- Failure to cancel before the renewal date
- Data loss (local storage is user's responsibility)
- Device incompatibility (if device meets stated requirements)
- User error or misunderstanding of features
6. How to Request a Refund

- Select Payments & subscriptions
- Tap Budget & history
- Find the Attendance Tracker purchase you want to refund
- Tap Request a refund
- Select the reason for your refund request
- Submit your request

7. Free Trial Cancellation
If we offer a free trial period:
- You can cancel at any time during the free trial
- Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged
- If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription
Important: To avoid charges, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the free trial period ends.
8. Discretionary Refunds
In exceptional circumstances, we may offer discretionary refunds outside of Google Play's standard refund policy. To request a discretionary refund:

- Bank processing: Additional 5-10 business days (depends on your bank/payment method)
- You will receive a confirmation email from Google Play when the refund is processed
- The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase
