Binaryscript Private Limited ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Game Screen Recorder Pro mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
Local-Only App
Game Screen Recorder Pro is a fully local application. All recordings, audio, and facecam footage are processed and stored entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your recordings or personal data.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Permissions and Device Access
App Permissions
The App requests the following device permissions to function:
- Screen Capture: Required to record your device screen. Screen content is recorded locally and never transmitted to our servers.
- Microphone: Used only when you enable microphone recording mode. Audio is recorded locally to your device.
- Camera: Used only when you enable the facecam overlay feature. Camera footage is composited into the recording locally on your device.
- Notifications: Used to display recording controls (pause, resume, stop) in the notification bar.
- Storage: Used to save and access recordings on your device.
1.2 Purchase Information
If you subscribe to a premium plan, payment is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details. We receive only a purchase token to verify your subscription status.
1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
Zero Data Collection
- We do not record, access, or transmit your screen content, audio, or camera footage to any server.
- We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number through the App.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not use analytics SDKs or third-party tracking tools.
- We do not serve advertisements.
2. How Your Data Is Stored
Local Storage Only
All recordings (video, audio, and facecam footage) are stored locally on your device in the Movies/GameScreenRecorderPro directory. We have no access to these files. You have full control to view, share, trim, and delete your recordings within the App or through your device file manager.
3. How We Use Information
The limited information we process is used solely to:
- Provide the screen recording, editing, and playback features of the App.
- Verify your subscription status through Google Play Billing.
- Save your preferences (recording settings, onboarding status) locally on your device using Android DataStore.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. When you use the share feature within the App, you choose the destination app (YouTube, Instagram, Discord, etc.) and control what is shared.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected] and we will take steps to delete such information.
6. Data Security
Device Security Responsibility
Since all recordings and settings are stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device security measures (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a secure lock screen.
7. Third-Party Services
The App uses Google Play Billing for subscription management. Google's privacy policy governs the data collected during the purchase process. You can review Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
8. Your Rights
You can:
- Delete any or all recordings from within the App or your device file manager.
- Clear App data from Android Settings to reset all preferences.
- Uninstall the App at any time to remove all App-related data from your device.
- Manage or cancel your subscription through the Google Play Store.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
