These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Invoice & Receipt Maker mobile application operated by BinaryScript ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Invoice & Receipt Maker.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Invoice & Receipt Maker, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms
  • You agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy
  • You are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • You have the authority to enter into this agreement
  • You are using the app for lawful business purposes

2. Description of Service

Invoice & Receipt Maker is a mobile application that provides business invoicing and receipt management tools. The app enables users to:

  • Create professional invoices, receipts, quotations, and other business documents
  • Manage client information and contacts
  • Track inventory and products/services
  • Generate GST-compliant tax invoices with CGST, SGST, and IGST calculations
  • Export documents to PDF format
  • Track payments and manage business finances
  • Access analytics and reports

The service is provided "as is" for your personal business use.

3. Important Disclaimers

IMPORTANT: Invoice & Receipt Maker is a business productivity tool.

  • The app is NOT professional financial, accounting, legal, or tax advice
  • We are NOT accountants, tax advisors, or legal professionals
  • GST calculations and tax features are provided for convenience but should be verified by a qualified professional
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws, business regulations, and accounting standards
  • We make no claims about the accuracy of tax calculations for your specific jurisdiction
  • Always consult with a qualified accountant or tax professional for business and tax matters

You acknowledge and agree that you use the app at your own discretion and risk.

4. User Accounts

A. Account Creation
  • You may use basic features without creating an account
  • You may optionally sign in with your Google account to access additional features
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
B. Account Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate business information when using the app
  • Keep your login information secure
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Not share your account with others
  • Not create multiple accounts to abuse the service or evade limitations
C. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Invoice & Receipt Maker only for lawful business purposes. You will NOT:

  • Use the app to create fraudulent invoices or receipts

6. Your Business Data

A. Data Ownership

You retain complete ownership of your business data, including:

  • All invoices, receipts, and documents you create
  • Client and customer information
  • Product and inventory data
  • Company information and branding
B. Local Storage

As described in our Privacy Policy:

  • All your business data is stored LOCALLY on your device
  • We do NOT access, upload, or sync your business data to our servers
  • You are responsible for backing up your data
  • Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all local data
C. Data Accuracy

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of all information entered into the app
  • Verifying tax calculations and compliance with applicable laws
  • Maintaining proper business records and documentation
  • Using appropriate accounting practices for your jurisdiction

7. Intellectual Property

A. Our Rights

Invoice & Receipt Maker and all related content, including but not limited to:

  • The app design, interface, and user experience
  • Software code and algorithms
  • Invoice templates and document formats
  • Logos, trademarks, and branding

...are owned by BinaryScript or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

B. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Invoice & Receipt Maker for personal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

C. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the app
  • Sell, rent, lease, or distribute the app
  • Remove or alter any copyright notices or branding
  • Use our trademarks without permission
  • Extract or reuse invoice templates for competing products

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Invoice & Receipt Maker offers both free and premium features:

  • Pricing will be clearly displayed before purchase
  • Payments will be processed through the Google Play Store
  • Refunds will be subject to the app store's refund policy and our refund policy
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with notice
  • Subscriptions will auto-renew unless cancelled
  • Premium features include: unlimited invoices, advanced analytics, multi-currency support, inventory management, and ad-free experience

9. Disclaimers and Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
  • WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES ABOUT THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE
  • WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED
  • WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS OR BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS
  • GST CALCULATIONS AND TAX FEATURES ARE PROVIDED FOR CONVENIENCE AND MAY CONTAIN ERRORS
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR TAX COMPLIANCE ISSUES OR ACCOUNTING ERRORS

You use the app at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • BinaryScript SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
  • THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR TAX PENALTIES, FINES, OR LEGAL ISSUES ARISING FROM USE OF THE APP
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP (IF ANY) IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS
  • SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIABILITIES, SO SOME LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU

You acknowledge that:

  • Any business decisions you make using the app are your sole responsibility
  • We are not liable for any consequences resulting from errors in invoices, tax calculations, or business documents
  • You should verify all calculations and consult professionals for important business matters

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BinaryScript, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of Invoice & Receipt Maker
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of others
  • Your business data or documents created with the app
  • Any tax or legal issues arising from your use of the app

12. Third-Party Services

Invoice & Receipt Maker may integrate with third-party services, including:

  • Google Sign-In for authentication
  • Google Play Store for distribution and payments
  • PDF generation libraries

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or their practices.

13. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time
  • Update the app with new features or improvements
  • Change invoice templates, tax calculation methods, or document formats
  • Impose limits on certain features or restrict access

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes, but we are not obligated to do so.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:

  • The "Last Updated" date will be revised
  • You will be notified through the app or via email (if signed in)
  • Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms
  • If you disagree with the changes, you should stop using the app

15. Termination

A. By You

You may stop using Invoice & Receipt Maker at any time by:

  • Uninstalling the app from your device
  • Deleting your account (if you have one)
B. By Us

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Your use of the app harms others or our service
  • We discontinue the service entirely
C. Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the app immediately ends
  • Your account and authentication data may be deleted
  • Locally stored business data on your device will remain until you delete it
  • Provisions of these Terms that should survive (liability, indemnification, etc.) will continue to apply

16. Data Backup Responsibility

IMPORTANT: You are solely responsible for backing up your business data.

  • We do NOT provide cloud backup or data recovery services
  • Use the app's export features to save important invoices and reports
  • Enable device backup to protect your data
  • We are not liable for data loss due to device failure, uninstallation, or other causes

17. Dispute Resolution

A. Informal Resolution

If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at [email protected] to attempt to resolve it informally.

B. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BinaryScript regarding the use of Invoice & Receipt Maker and supersede any prior agreements.

20. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
