How to Delete Your Account

Palm Reader AI respects your right to data privacy and control over your personal information. We've made the account deletion process simple and straightforward.

Option 1: Delete Account Through the App

1. Open the Palm Reader AI app
2. Navigate to "Settings" (tap the gear icon in the top-right corner of the main screen)
3. Scroll down and tap on "Account"
4. Select "Delete Account" at the bottom of the screen
5. Read the information about account deletion
6. Enter your password or authenticate when prompted for security verification
7. Confirm deletion by tapping "Delete My Account Permanently"
8. Your account and associated data will be scheduled for deletion

Option 2: Contact Support

If you're unable to access your account or experiencing issues with the in-app deletion process:

1. Send an email to [email protected]
2. Include the subject line "Palm Reader AI Account Deletion Request"
3. Provide the email address associated with your Google account (if you signed in with Google)
4. Our support team will verify your identity and process your deletion request within 7 business days

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you delete your account:

• Your Google account connection will be removed from our system
• All your saved palm readings stored in the cloud will be permanently deleted
• Your subscription will be canceled (if applicable)
• Your user preferences and settings will be removed
• Your account will be disassociated from any shared content
• Note: Palm photos are not stored on our servers as they are processed locally on your device

Data Retention After Deletion

• Immediate Deletion: Your account information and cloud-synced readings are deleted immediately from active servers
• Server Backups: Complete removal from all backups may take up to 30 days
• Local Device Data: Any readings stored locally on your device will remain until you uninstall the app
• Legal Requirements: We may retain certain information if required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:
  • Records of transactions for financial reporting
  • Information needed for legal proceedings
  • Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics

Reinstating a Deleted Account

Once your account is deleted, it cannot be reinstated. If you wish to use Palm Reader AI again in the future, you'll need to create a new account by signing in with Google again.

Additional Notes

• Deleting your account will not automatically issue refunds for any active subscriptions or purchases
• To completely remove all app data from your device, you should uninstall the Palm Reader AI app after deleting your account
• Readings you've shared with others (e.g., via screenshot or social media) will remain accessible on those platforms
• If you've signed in with Google, the connection to your Google account will be removed, but you'll need to manage privacy settings on Google separately
• Palm photos are processed locally and are never uploaded to our servers, so they remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app

Before You Delete

Consider these alternatives before permanently deleting your account:

• Export Your Readings: Save your favorite readings to your device before deletion
• Sign Out Instead: If you just want to take a break, you can sign out without deleting your account
• Cancel Subscription: If you're concerned about charges, you can cancel your subscription without deleting your account
