Privacy Policy for RadarMap

Last Updated: 26 Jan 2026

Binaryscript Private Limited ("we," "us," or "our") operates the RadarMap mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using RadarMap, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Key Privacy Principle

Your real-time location data stays on YOUR device. We process your location locally to detect nearby cameras and provide alerts. Your location is NEVER uploaded to or stored on our servers. We do not track your movements or driving history.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide

When you create an account or use our App, we may collect:

  • Account Information: When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
  • Camera Reports: When you report a speed camera or traffic hazard, we collect the camera location, type, speed limit, direction, and any notes you provide. Your user ID is associated with your reports.
  • User Preferences: Your chosen settings including alert mode preferences, speed unit (km/h or mph), and theme preferences.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use RadarMap, certain information is collected automatically:

  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Usage Data: App feature usage, interaction patterns, and performance data through Firebase Analytics.
  • Crash Reports: If the App crashes, we collect diagnostic information through Firebase Crashlytics to help us improve stability.
1.3 Location Information
Local Processing Only

RadarMap requires access to your device's location to function:

  • Real-Time Location: Used locally on your device to detect nearby cameras, calculate your speed, and provide proximity alerts.
  • Background Location: Used for continuous monitoring while you use other navigation apps.

IMPORTANT: Your real-time location data is processed entirely on your device and is NOT transmitted to or stored on our servers. We do not track your movements or driving history.

Camera Report Locations: When you submit a camera report, only the camera's location (not your personal location history) is stored.
