This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds related to RadarMap Premium purchases, operated by Binaryscript Private Limited.

Freemium Model

RadarMap is free to download and use with advertisements. Premium upgrades are optional and provide an ad-free experience along with advanced features.

All payments are processed through the Google Play Store.

1. Free vs Premium
1.1 Free Version

The free version of RadarMap includes:

  • Real-time speed camera alerts
  • Map display with camera locations
  • Community camera reporting
  • Customizable alert modes
  • Basic features with advertisements

No payment required - therefore no refund applicable for free usage.

1.2 Premium Version

Premium upgrades may include:

  • Ad-free experience
  • Advanced alert customization
  • Priority support
  • Additional premium features
2. Premium Purchase Options

RadarMap Premium may be available as:

  • Monthly Subscription: Billed every month, auto-renews
  • Yearly Subscription: Billed annually, auto-renews
  • One-Time Purchase: Lifetime access (if available)

All purchases are made through Google Play Store.

3. Refund Eligibility
3.1 Google Play Store Refunds

All Premium payments are processed by Google Play. Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy:

Within 48 Hours: Google Play may automatically approve refund requests made within 48 hours of purchase.

After 48 Hours: Refund requests must be submitted directly to Google Play and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

3.2 Circumstances for Refund Consideration

Refunds may be considered in the following cases:

  • Accidental purchases
  • Duplicate charges
  • Technical issues preventing Premium features from working
  • Unauthorized purchases
  • Premium features not working as described
3.3 Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds are generally NOT provided for:

  • Subscription time already used
  • Change of mind after significant use
  • Failure to cancel subscription before renewal
  • Not using the app during the subscription period
  • Dissatisfaction with camera database accuracy (see Terms of Service disclaimers)
  • Device incompatibility (check requirements before purchase)
  • Speed camera detection being restricted in your jurisdiction
  • Traffic violations, fines, or accidents while using the app

4. How to Request a Refund
4.1 Via Google Play Store App
  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon
  3. Go to Payments & subscriptions > Budget & history
  4. Find the RadarMap Premium purchase
  5. Tap "Refund" or "Report a problem"
  6. Select the reason for your refund request
  7. Follow the instructions to submit
4.2 Via Web
  1. Go to play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory
  2. Find the RadarMap order
  3. Click "Request a refund" or "Report a problem"
  4. Select the option that describes your situation
  5. Complete the form

  • Your Google account email (used for sign-in)
  • Google Play order ID (from your receipt email)
  • Date of purchase

5. Subscription Cancellation
5.1 How to Cancel

Via Google Play Store:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon
  3. Go to Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions
  4. Find RadarMap Premium
  5. Tap "Cancel subscription"
  6. Follow the instructions
5.2 What Happens After Cancellation
  • You retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period
  • No future charges will occur
  • After the period ends, you revert to the free version with ads
  • You can re-subscribe anytime

Important: Cancellation does NOT automatically qualify for a refund. Cancellation only stops future billing.

6. Processing Time
  • Google Play Refunds: 3-5 business days after approval
  • Bank Processing: May take additional 5-10 business days depending on your bank
  • Direct Support Requests: We respond within 2-3 business days
7. Refund Method

Refunds are processed through the original payment method used for the purchase:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refund to the same card
  • UPI: Refund to the linked bank account
  • Google Play Balance: Credit to your Google Play balance
8. Technical Issues

If you're experiencing technical issues with Premium features:

  • Contact us first - we may be able to resolve your issue
  • Ensure location permissions are granted
  • Check that your device meets minimum requirements (Android 8.0+)
  • Try clearing app cache or reinstalling
  • Verify your Google account is properly signed in

We're committed to helping you get the most out of RadarMap Premium before considering a refund.

9. Free Trial (If Applicable)

If a free trial is offered for Premium:

  • One free trial per user/Google account
  • Full Premium features available during trial
  • Automatically converts to paid subscription unless cancelled
  • Cancel at least 24 hours before trial ends to avoid charges

Note: If you don't cancel before the free trial ends, you will be charged for the subscription period.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will be communicated through:

  • App notifications
  • Updated policy on our website
  • Email (if applicable)
