How to Delete Your SanatanDarshan Account

We respect your right to manage your personal data. This page explains how to delete your SanatanDarshan account and the associated data.
Methods to Delete Your Account
Method 1: Via Email Request
Steps:
- Send an email to [email protected]
- Use subject line: "Account Deletion Request - SanatanDarshan"
- Include the phone number or email associated with your account
- We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days
Method 2: Uninstall the App
Steps:
- Long-press on the SanatanDarshan app icon on your device
- Select "Uninstall" or drag to "Uninstall"
- Confirm the uninstallation
Note: Uninstalling removes all local data (favorites, cache, preferences). To delete server-side account data, please also submit an email request as described above.
What Data Will Be Deleted
Local Data (Deleted Immediately Upon Uninstall)
- Saved favorites/bookmarked wallpapers
- Cached wallpaper images
- App preferences and settings
- Authentication tokens
Server Data (Deleted Upon Request)
- Account profile (phone number, name, email)
- Usage statistics and analytics
- Login history and session data
Data Retention After Deletion
After account deletion:
- Profile data: Deleted within 30 days
- Analytics data: May be retained in aggregated, anonymized form
- Backup logs: Retained for up to 90 days for security purposes
Important Information
Before Deleting Your Account
- This action is irreversible
- You will lose access to any saved favorites
- If you have a premium subscription, ensure it's canceled first
- You can create a new account anytime using the same phone number
Guest Mode Users
If you've been using the app in guest mode (without creating an account):
- Your data is stored only on your device
- Simply uninstall the app to remove all data
- No server-side data exists to delete
Data Portability
Before deleting your account, you may request a copy of your data:

- Use subject: "Data Export Request - SanatanDarshan"
- We will provide your data in a commonly used format within 30 days
