Your Data Stays Local
All your expense data, groups, and contacts are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data. Your financial information remains private and under your control.

SplitRight stores the following data locally on your device:
- Expense records (descriptions, amounts, dates, categories)
- Group information (names, members, settings)
- Contact information (names, email addresses, phone numbers you manually enter)

Important: This data is stored only on your device and is NOT transmitted to our servers. We do not have access to this locally stored data.
1.2 Analytics Information
We use Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to collect anonymous usage data to help us improve the App. This includes:
- App usage patterns and feature engagement
- Screen views and navigation paths
- Device type and operating system version
- App crashes and performance data
- General geographic location (country/region level only)

1.3 Purchase Information
When you make in-app purchases, the transaction is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store your payment information (such as credit card numbers). We only receive confirmation of your purchase status to unlock premium features.

Backup Reminder: Since all data is stored locally, please ensure you backup your device regularly. We cannot recover lost data.

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect the information collected through Firebase Analytics. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
