How to Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. Your data sits in two separate places, and each is deleted differently. Work through the steps below in order.

warning Before you start: export anything you need to keep

Your orders, customer records, measurements, cloth photographs and order history exist only on your device. We hold no copy and cannot restore them. Once they are gone they are gone permanently — so export a backup, and print or save the tokens and workshop copies you need, before you delete anything. Measurements you have collected over years are the hardest thing here to rebuild.

Step 1: Cancel Your Subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription, and uninstalling does not either. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first to avoid future charges.

If you pay by PhonePe / UPI AutoPay (India, Android):
  1. Open the UPI app you approved the mandate in (for example PhonePe)
  2. Tap your profile icon
  3. Go to Autopay (Manage Subscriptions / Mandates)
  4. Find the Tailor Shop Manager mandate
  5. Tap Cancel, Stop or Revoke

You can also email [email protected] to request cancellation.

If you pay through Google Play (Android outside India):
  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap the profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions
  3. Select Tailor Shop Manager and tap Cancel subscription
If you pay through Apple (iPhone or iPad):
  1. Go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions
  2. Select Tailor Shop Manager and tap Cancel Subscription

A one-time lifetime purchase is not a subscription — there is nothing to cancel, and it is not refunded. See our Refund Policy.

Step 2: Delete Your Account In the App
  1. Open Tailor Shop Manager and make sure you are signed in
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap Delete account
  4. Confirm when prompted

This signs you out, removes your local session and deletes your Firebase user.

This step does not erase the account record held on our own servers, and it does not delete the orders on your device. Complete Step 3 and Step 4 as well.

Step 3: Request Erasure of Your Server Account Record

Subject: Account Deletion - Tailor Shop Manager

Send it from the address you signed in with, or from any address quoting that email. Include:

  • The email address of the Google or Apple account you signed in with
  • Confirmation that you want your server account record erased

We verify the request and delete the record within 30 days, keeping only what tax and accounting law requires us to keep.

Step 4: Delete Your Workshop Data

Your orders and measurements live on your device only. Remove them in whichever way suits you:

Selectively: delete individual orders or customers inside the App.

Everything at once: clear the App's data in your device settings, or uninstall the App — Settings > Apps > Tailor Shop Manager > Uninstall. Either removes all orders, measurements, photographs, payments, order history, scheduled reminders and settings permanently.

Backups you already exported are not affected. Any backup file you shared to WhatsApp, a cloud drive or email stays where you sent it and contains your customers' details and their measurements. Delete those copies yourself — we have no access to them and cannot remove them for you.

What Gets Deleted

1. On your device — removed when you clear the App's data or uninstall:

  • Every order: customer name and phone, the people recorded against that number and their relation, the garments ordered with quantity and rate, the stage, the trial and delivery dates and the timeline
  • Every set of measurements, per person and per garment
  • Cloth and design photographs stored in the App's private storage
  • What came in with the cloth — lining, buttons, zip, falls, a sample garment — and your notes
  • Estimates, payments and balances
  • Order history per customer and every scheduled trial and delivery reminder
  • Your shop profile: name, phone, address, GST number, logo, currency and your own shop terms
  • App settings including the app lock, onboarding state, order count and processed-purchase identifiers
  • Your session tokens

2. Your Firebase user — removed by Settings > Delete account:

  • Your Firebase authentication user and your signed-in session

3. Our server account record — erased within 30 days of a verified email request:

  • Your internal account identifier and Firebase UID
  • Your name, email address, country and language
  • Any phone number stored with a payment
  • Your subscription status and entitlement record
Data We May Retain

We may retain certain information after deletion, as described in our Privacy Policy:

  • Payment and subscription records, for as long as tax and accounting law requires, limited to what those obligations need
  • Aggregate and anonymised analytics that do not identify you
  • Crash reports, retained by Firebase Crashlytics for up to 90 days
  • Records required to comply with legal obligations or to resolve disputes
Important Notes
  • Deletion is permanent and there is no cloud backup. Nothing was ever uploaded, so neither you nor we can recover your orders or your customers' measurements.
  • Cancel before you delete. A live UPI mandate or store subscription keeps billing even after your account is gone.
  • Subscriptions are not refunded. Deleting your account does not qualify you for a refund — see our Refund Policy.
  • Reminders stop. Uninstalling cancels every scheduled trial and delivery reminder. Nothing will warn you about a promised date afterwards.
  • Re-registering: you can sign in again with the same account, but you will start fresh with no orders, no measurements and no premium entitlement carried over unless your purchase is still active and restorable through the store.
  • Your Google or Apple account is not affected. To revoke this app's access, visit Google Account > Third-party apps, or on iOS Settings > [your name] > Sign in with Apple.
  • Your customers' data: it was only ever on your device, so clearing local data removes it. We never held it, and there is nothing on our side to erase.
