Refund Policy Overview

BinaryScript maintains a strict no-refund policy for all subscriptions and in-app purchases made through FalaPix. All sales are final. By making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that all payments are non-refundable.

Payments for FalaPix subscriptions are processed through the Google Play Store. BinaryScript ("we", "us", or "our") does not directly process payments or issue refunds.

Google Play Store Refunds

Google Play has its own refund policies that are independent of BinaryScript. According to Google's policy:

  • Google Play may offer refunds within 48 hours of purchase at their discretion
  • To request a refund from Google, visit Google Play Order History
  • Google makes all final decisions regarding refunds for Google Play purchases
  • Any refund granted by Google is at Google's sole discretion and is not provided by BinaryScript
Free Trial (If Offered)

Where FalaPix offers a free trial period, you can use the App's paid features without being charged during the trial.

  • If you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, you will not be charged
  • If you do not cancel before the trial ends, Google Play will automatically charge you for the first billing period and your subscription will continue on a recurring basis
  • We strongly encourage you to evaluate the App fully during any free trial period
Subscription Cancellations
For Google Play (Android):

You may cancel your FalaPix subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device
  2. Tap the profile icon in the top right corner
  3. Tap "Payments & subscriptions"
  4. Tap "Subscriptions"
  5. Find the FalaPix subscription and tap it
  6. Tap "Cancel subscription" and follow the on-screen instructions

Important notes about subscription cancellations:

  • Cancelling a subscription stops automatic renewal only
  • You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
  • Payments made prior to cancellation are non-refundable
  • No refunds are provided for partial use or early termination
  • You can resubscribe at any time after cancellation
All Purchases Are Non-Refundable

All purchases made through FalaPix are final and non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Monthly subscriptions
  • Yearly subscriptions
  • Any other in-app purchases
  • Subscription renewals (automatic or manual)
  • Purchases where the user has accessed or used paid features
  • Charges incurred due to failure to cancel before the trial or renewal date

We encourage you to evaluate the app's compatibility with your bank's notifications and your device's background-survival behaviour before making any purchase.

Bank-App and Device Limitations

FalaPix relies on push notifications posted by your bank apps and on Android's background-service execution. These are factors outside our control:

  • If your bank changes or stops sending Pix-received notifications, FalaPix cannot announce them
  • If your device's OEM (Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, Samsung, Huawei) aggressively kills background services, FalaPix may miss announcements
  • If you revoke notification access or battery-optimization exemption, FalaPix will not work

These known limitations — described in our Terms of Service — are not grounds for a refund.

Consumer Protection Laws

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction. If you are a Brazilian consumer, your non-waivable rights under the Código de Defesa do Consumidor (Lei nº 8.078/1990) and the LGPD (Lei nº 13.709/2018) remain in force. Where any law requires us to offer refunds in specific circumstances, we will comply with those legal obligations.

Technical Support

If you experience technical issues with FalaPix, please contact us at [email protected]. Our team will make every effort to resolve technical problems — including parser updates when bank notification text changes — but technical issues do not entitle users to a refund from BinaryScript.

Fraudulent Purchases and Chargebacks

If you believe a purchase was made without your authorization:

  • Contact Google Play Store support immediately to report unauthorized charges
  • Secure your Google account by changing your password and enabling two-factor authentication

Unjustified chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension and permanent loss of access to paid features. Please contact us or Google Play before initiating a chargeback with your bank.

Fair Usage Policy

We reserve the right to:

  • Investigate suspicious purchase or refund patterns
  • Suspend or terminate accounts engaged in refund fraud or abuse
  • Limit future purchases for users with excessive refund requests through app stores
  • Take appropriate action against accounts that exploit refund policies
Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
