By installing or using FalaPix, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please uninstall the app — that's the entire termination mechanism (no account exists to delete).
1. What FalaPix Is, and Isn't
FalaPix is a voice announcement utility. It listens for Pix-received notifications already posted by your banking apps to the Android notification shade, parses the BRL amount, and speaks it aloud.
FalaPix is NOT a bank, payment processor, or financial institution. It does not:
- Hold or move money
- Process Pix transactions
- Connect to your bank, card, or any financial system
- Have access to your account number, balance, or credentials
- Authenticate or authorize anything on your behalf
We rely entirely on the notifications your bank apps post locally to your phone. If your bank stops sending notifications, becomes more generic in its notification text, or you revoke notification access, FalaPix will not announce. This is a fundamental limitation of the service, not a defect.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to use FalaPix.
3. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of your bank app data — we don't double-check the bank's notifications, we only relay them.
- Any business or accounting decisions you make based on what FalaPix announces. An announcement is NOT a settlement confirmation. Always reconcile with your bank's official records (statement, app, Pix receipt) before considering a payment final.
- Complying with the laws of your country, including LGPD (Brazil) and any commerce/tax obligations from receiving Pix.
- Keeping your device's battery, autostart, and notification permissions configured so the listener can run when you need it.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use FalaPix to announce notifications from apps that aren't your own banking apps installed on your own device.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source of the app, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Use FalaPix in a way that violates the terms of your bank's apps.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app without our written consent.
5. Bank-App Dependence
FalaPix is built to work with the consumer-facing apps of major Brazilian financial institutions. Our regex-based parsers are based on public knowledge of their notification text patterns and may break when:
- A bank updates its notification wording
- A bank consolidates or generalises its notifications (Banco do Brasil has done this since 2024)
- A bank stops sending push notifications altogether for certain account types (Banco Inter PJ, for example)
We make reasonable efforts to keep parsers up to date but we do NOT guarantee correct parsing for every notification of every supported bank. If FalaPix misses a Pix on your device, please email us a description of what your bank sent so we can fix it.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
FalaPix offers paid subscription tiers processed through Google Play Billing.
- Prices, features, and limits of each tier are displayed inside the App before you subscribe.
- Subscription fees are charged to your Google Play account upon purchase and upon each automatic renewal.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Google Play account settings.
- A free trial (where offered) will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless canceled beforehand.
- Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy and Google Play's refund policy.
- Taxes may apply based on your location and are handled by Google Play.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices, features, and tier structures. Price changes will not affect active subscription periods already paid for.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
FalaPix is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Fitness for any particular business purpose
- Compatibility with any specific Android OEM, version, or banking app
- That every Pix received will be announced, that announcements will be audible, or that voice quality on your device will be acceptable
Brazilian phones from Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, Samsung, and Huawei aggressively kill background apps. FalaPix takes reasonable steps to survive (foreground-service-style architecture, OEM-specific deep links for autostart, battery-optimization prompts) — but no Android app can guarantee 100% background reliability on every device configuration.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BinaryScript shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Lost revenue from missed Pix announcements
- Lost customers, lost goodwill, or business interruption
- Errors in your manual reconciliation caused by relying on FalaPix rather than your bank's official records
- Any consequences of granting battery-optimization exceptions or autostart permissions
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of FalaPix shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) US$ 5.
You acknowledge that the limitations above are a fundamental basis on which we make the app available.
9. Privacy
FalaPix's data handling is described in our Privacy Policy. Notification text from your banking apps is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or to any third party. We collect anonymous, bucketed analytics via Firebase as described in that policy.
10. Updates and Changes
We may update FalaPix from time to time, including changes to:
- Bank parsers (more banks supported, regex updates)
- Voice announcements
- The user interface
- These Terms (we'll publish a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, surface them inside the app before your next use)
If you don't agree with a Terms change, your remedy is to stop using the app and uninstall.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:
- You may terminate by uninstalling the app. All on-device data is deleted by Android on uninstall.
- We may terminate by ceasing to publish the app on the Play Store or by issuing an update that disables core functionality.
Termination does not affect either party's accrued rights up to that point.
12. Intellectual Property
The FalaPix name, logo (the green-and-lime "P" mark), source code, and all included artwork are the intellectual property of BinaryScript or our licensors. Bank brand names (Nubank, Itaú, etc.) are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only nominatively to describe which bank apps FalaPix supports — no endorsement is implied.
The app does not grant you any rights to those trademarks.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts at Bangalore having exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a Brazilian consumer, this clause does not displace any non-waivable rights you have under the Código de Defesa do Consumidor (Lei nº 8.078/1990) or the LGPD (Lei nº 13.709/2018).
For non-consumer disputes, the parties shall first attempt good-faith negotiation by email to [email protected]. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute may proceed to the courts at Bangalore.
14. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BinaryScript regarding FalaPix.
