Refund Policy Overview

Binaryscript Private Limited maintains a strict no-refund policy for all subscriptions and in-app purchases made through Origami 3D. All sales are final. By making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that all payments are non-refundable.

Origami 3D is free to download and its lessons are currently offered at no charge. Where paid features, a premium tier or subscriptions are offered, payments are processed through the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Binaryscript Private Limited ("BinaryScript", "we", "us", or "our") does not directly process payments or issue refunds.

Payment Processing

Any payment for Origami 3D is processed through one of the following:

  • Google Play Billing — for all Android purchases
  • Apple App Store — for all iOS purchases

We never receive or store your card details, billing address or any other payment information. All transactions are final once payment is successfully completed.

No Refund Policy

BinaryScript does not offer refunds for any payments made for Origami 3D subscriptions or in-app purchases. This is a strict policy with no exceptions.

Google Play Store (Android)

BinaryScript does not issue refunds for Google Play purchases. Google Play operates its own refund policy, independent of BinaryScript:

  • Google Play may offer refunds within 48 hours of purchase at their discretion
  • To request a refund from Google, visit Google Play Order History
  • Google makes all final decisions regarding refunds for Google Play purchases
  • Any refund granted by Google is at Google's sole discretion and is not provided by BinaryScript
Apple App Store (iOS)

BinaryScript does not issue refunds for App Store purchases. All App Store refund requests must be submitted to Apple:

  • Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Sign in with your Apple ID, find the purchase and report a problem
  • Apple reviews each request individually, and any refund granted is at Apple's sole discretion
Free Trial (If Offered)

Where Origami 3D offers a free trial period, you can use the paid features without being charged during the trial.

  • If you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, you will not be charged
  • If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the store will automatically charge you for the first billing period and your subscription will continue on a recurring basis
  • We strongly encourage you to evaluate the App fully during any free trial period
Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel a subscription at any time through your store account settings. Cancelling stops future billing; it does not refund payments already made.

Google Play (Android):
  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device
  2. Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions
  4. Find the Origami 3D subscription and tap it
  5. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the on-screen instructions
Apple App Store (iOS):
  1. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions
  2. Select Origami 3D
  3. Tap Cancel Subscription

Important notes about subscription cancellations:

  • Cancelling a subscription stops automatic renewal only
  • You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
  • Payments made prior to cancellation are non-refundable
  • No refunds are provided for partial use or early termination
  • Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription — cancel it using the steps above
  • You can resubscribe at any time after cancellation
All Purchases Are Non-Refundable

All purchases made through Origami 3D are final and non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Monthly subscriptions
  • Yearly subscriptions
  • Lifetime purchases
  • Any other in-app purchases
  • Subscription renewals (automatic or manual)
  • Purchases where the user has accessed or used paid lessons or features
  • Charges incurred due to failure to cancel before the trial or renewal date

Origami 3D offers a substantial free course. We encourage you to work through the free lessons, and to use any free trial period offered, before making a purchase.

Course Content Is Not Grounds for a Refund

As described in our Terms of Service, the course changes over time and has deliberate limits:

  • We may add, change, or remove lessons, models and features at any time, and we make no promise that any particular model will be added or completed
  • The folding engine represents one straight crease at a time on flat paper. A small number of traditional models include a move it cannot represent honestly; those lessons are marked in the App and stop at that point rather than showing a fold that is not real.
  • Some lessons may be shown as pending or coming soon
  • Folding is a manual skill. We do not warrant that following the instructions will produce any particular result with any given paper.

These are known characteristics of the App, disclosed before purchase, and are not grounds for a refund.

Consumer Protection Laws

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction. If you are an Indian consumer, your non-waivable rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 remain in force. Where any law requires us to offer refunds in specific circumstances, we will comply with those legal obligations.

Technical Support

If you experience technical issues with Origami 3D — the viewer failing to load, a fold that looks wrong, or a purchase that was charged but did not unlock — please contact us at [email protected]. Please include your device model and the lesson name. Our team will make every effort to resolve the problem, including restoring a purchase that was charged but not applied. Technical issues do not otherwise entitle users to a refund from BinaryScript.

Fraudulent Purchases and Chargebacks

If you believe a purchase was made without your authorization:

  • Contact Google Play or Apple App Store support immediately to report unauthorized charges
  • Secure your store account by changing your password and enabling two-factor authentication

Unjustified chargebacks may result in permanent loss of access to paid features. Please contact us or your app store before initiating a chargeback with your bank.

Fair Usage Policy

We reserve the right to:

  • Investigate suspicious purchase or refund patterns
  • Suspend or terminate access for users engaged in payment fraud or abuse
  • Limit future purchases for users with excessive refund requests through app stores
  • Take appropriate action against accounts that exploit refund policies
Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
