Stargazing Map - Refund Policy

Refund Policy Overview

Stargazing Map is free to download, and every feature in it is currently unlocked at no charge. Where paid features are offered, payments are processed through the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Binaryscript Private Limited ("BinaryScript", "we", "us", or "our") does not directly process payments or issue refunds.

Payment Processing

Any payment for Stargazing Map is processed through one of the following:

• Google Play Billing — for all Android purchases
• Apple App Store — for all iOS purchases

We never receive or store your card details, billing address or any other payment information. The App records only which products you own, held on your device and re-checked with the store. All transactions are final once payment is successfully completed.

No Refund Policy

BinaryScript does not offer refunds for any payments made for Stargazing Map in-app purchases or subscriptions. This is a strict policy with no exceptions.

Google Play Store (Android)

BinaryScript does not issue refunds for Google Play purchases. Google Play operates its own refund policy, independent of BinaryScript:

• Google Play may offer refunds within 48 hours of purchase at their discretion
• To request a refund from Google, visit Google Play Order History
• Google makes all final decisions regarding refunds for Google Play purchases
• Any refund granted by Google is at Google's sole discretion and is not provided by BinaryScript

Apple App Store (iOS)

BinaryScript does not issue refunds for App Store purchases. All App Store refund requests must be submitted to Apple:

• Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
• Sign in with your Apple ID, find the purchase and report a problem
• Apple reviews each request individually, and any refund granted is at Apple's sole discretion

Free Trial (If Offered)

Where Stargazing Map offers a free trial period, you can use the paid features without being charged during the trial.

• If you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, you will not be charged
• If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the store will automatically charge you for the first billing period and any subscription will continue on a recurring basis
• We strongly encourage you to evaluate the App fully during any free trial period

Subscription Cancellations

Where a purchase is a recurring subscription, you may cancel it at any time through your store account settings. Cancelling stops future billing; it does not refund payments already made.

Google Play (Android):

Apple App Store (iOS):

Important notes about cancellations:

• Cancelling a subscription stops automatic renewal only
• You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
• Payments made prior to cancellation are non-refundable
• No refunds are provided for partial use or early termination
• Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription — cancel it using the steps above
• A one-time unlock is permanent and is not a subscription; there is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund

All Purchases Are Non-Refundable

All purchases made through Stargazing Map are final and non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:

• One-time feature unlocks
• Monthly subscriptions
• Yearly subscriptions
• Any other in-app purchases
• Subscription renewals (automatic or manual)
• Purchases where the user has accessed or used the unlocked features
• Charges incurred due to failure to cancel before the trial or renewal date

Stargazing Map is fully usable for free. We encourage you to use the free App thoroughly, and any free trial period offered, before making a purchase.

Accuracy and Device Limitations Are Not Grounds for a Refund

These are known characteristics of the App and of consumer device hardware, disclosed before purchase, and are not grounds for a refund.

Consumer Protection Laws

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction. If you are an Indian consumer, your non-waivable rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 remain in force. Where any law requires us to offer refunds in specific circumstances, we will comply with those legal obligations.

Technical Support

If you experience technical issues with Stargazing Map — the sky not orienting correctly, the compass needing repeated calibration, or a purchase that was charged but did not unlock — please contact us at [email protected]. Please include your device model and App version. Our team will make every effort to resolve the problem, including restoring a purchase that was charged but not applied. Technical issues do not otherwise entitle users to a refund from BinaryScript.

Fraudulent Purchases and Chargebacks

If you believe a purchase was made without your authorization:

• Contact Google Play or Apple App Store support immediately to report unauthorized charges
• Secure your store account by changing your password and enabling two-factor authentication

Fair Usage Policy

We reserve the right to:

• Investigate suspicious purchase or refund patterns
• Suspend or terminate access for users engaged in payment fraud or abuse
• Limit future purchases for users with excessive refund requests through app stores
• Take appropriate action against users who exploit refund policies

Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
